Fair Jobs and Volunteer Opportunities

Work at the Marin County Fair

The following paid positions are still available across for the five days of the Fair, June 30 to July 4, 2023.

Ticket Sellers — Assists Fair patrons with purchasing tickets, reprinting lost tickets, and any ticket related questions and concerns.

Event Attendants — Working alongside our core of Volunteer Ushers, the Event Attendants ensure smooth customer service at the Fair and assist with show and concert seating.

Info Booth Assistants — Serving as the keepers of Fair information and map guidance, Info Booth Assistants interface with our patrons to answer queries, elevate concerns, or find lost items.

Office Assistants — Works directly with the Fair Admin team and provides front desk assistance. Duties include answering phones and questions from the public, performing tasks using Microsoft Word and Excel, and other administrative tasks as needed.

Volunteer at the Fair

If you are interested in volunteering at the Fair, attend our volunteer info session on Wednesday, May 24th at 5:30pm in the Exhibit Hall where we’ll outline all the volunteer opportunities. Please also Register at Volgistics to attend.

Competitive Exhibits Receiving Assistants — The receiving team aids our artists and competitors with entry drop-off and receiving of their artwork and items.

Competitive Exhibits Runners — Exhibit Hall Runners assist our Department Coordinators and Department Assistants with the day-to-today operations of the Competitive Exhibits Hall to ensure that all processes run smoothly.

Competitive Exhibits Clerks — Competitive Exhibits Clerk assist our Judges with data entry to ensure that all entry judging is properly accounted for and logged or awards distribution.

Competitive Exhibits Installers — The Installation team serves at the artistic eye of the Exhibits Hall. Under the direction of the Lead Designer, Installers mount and display all entries in the best way possible to help every competitor shine.
